Check Out My Ombre Hair ft. L’Oreal Paris Wild Ombre

A few days ago I got to attend an amazing beauty blogger event hosted by L’Oreal at the amazing Del Monaco Hair Studio downtown Toronto. Eric Del Monaco (Official Hair Artist & Colourist for L’Oreal Paris) provided me with a personalized ombre look using the L’Oreal Paris Feria Wild Ombre kit in shade 050.

After Eric chose the ombre shade for my new look, it was applied to each layer of hair using the brush in the kit. On the top layer of hair the stylist used a super cute finger brush from the L’Oreal Paris Superior Preference Ombre Touch kit. This tiny brush allows for small pieces of hair to be highlighted with the ombre colour, which offers a more subtle look instead of the dramatic ends. I had a few pieces done framing my face to blend into my ombre ends.

My colour stayed on for about 30 minutes and was then washed and conditioned using the special colouring products included in the kit. Once it was dried I had the pleasure of having it professionally curled, and it turned out so pretty! My ombre look ended up being a pretty golden colour that blended in well with my dark brown hair.

I absolutely love the finished result and had such a wonderful time at the event. I got to chat with other beauty bloggers too. I will definitely be picking up another ombre kit in a few months when my hair grows out a bit more – this was super quick and easy to do and gave great results!

  1. You hair looks great so glossy and perfect. I tried ombre with a purple bottom and the stylist damaged it soo much I had to cut my hair really short 😦 I’d kinda like to try again when my hairs a little longer. Steph xx
