My new must-have hair product – L’Oreal Professionel Hairchalk!

Holy Moly, if you haven’t heard about the new L’Oréal Professionnel Hairchalk then you are seriously missing out on something amazing! This is liquid hair chalk that lasts anywhere from one to five shampoos. It comes in five bold colours including violet and coral, as well as three neutral colours for an ombre-inspired look.

First of all the colour choices are amazing. Second of all the formula and long-lasting effect of these dyes are even more amazing. And to top it off, the application was a total breeze. Simple, temporary hair colour that lasts more than a few hours is hard to find, but the L’Oréal Professionnel Hairchalk line is an incredible product that does all of the above!

I tried out the shade called Garden Party, which is a green/teal colour. I only used it on my blonde ends (leftover from my L’Oreal Paris Wild Ombre which you can read about here) and it worked phenomenally.

The instructions are to use a makeup sponge to apply it to your hair but I found that my sponge was soaking up more product than my hair so I switched to my hands. It got a little messy but a few makeup wipes cleaned up my sink and my fingers in no time.

The whole application on my blonde ends took only about 15 minutes and was so easy. It was pretty messy but it cleaned up well and was worth the mess. These hair chalks are great for temporary style without the long-term colour commitment, If you haven’t checked them out I highly suggest you do since they’ve just made it to the top of my must-have hair product list.
