Summer Skin Care: The Body Shop Tea Tree

I personally love reading about different skin care regimes and the results that bloggers see, so I figured it was time to post the skin care products that I use and share how they are working so far.

I first posted about The Body Shop Tea Tree Collection back in February, when I was just starting to check it out. You can read my original post here, where I talked about trying them for the first time. I have always been interested in tea tree for skin care so it was good to try them out. I stuck with the products for about a month or so but I continued to switch in a few different moisturizers and face washes here and there.

Right now the only skin care items I am using have been The Body Shop Tea Tree products, and I feel like this is a much more fair way to see their results. By sticking to only this lineup, and using all of the products I need, I can really see if this is the right skin care regime for me. And so far it seems like it is!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Care Products

I have the best results I have ever seen in my skin (combination to oily, and very prone to breakouts) so I’m thrilled with these products. Although the image doesn’t show them all, here is the full list of what items I use and when I use them in my daily skin care system.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash: This is a gel-like cleaner that lathers up nicely. I use it for washing my face in the morning and evening.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner: Very strongly scented but I find it refreshing. I use this toner after washing my face, both morning and evening.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub: I use this as a facial scrub instead of my regular face wash whenever I feel like I need an extra deep cleanse. It’s too exfoliating for every day use but I reach for it a few times a week to help wash away the dirt and heat or the summer.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion: I use this as my morning moisturizer because it is very light and non-oily. It helps fight shine which is especially helpful in the sweaty summer heat.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion: This one is a lot stronger than my morning lotion, and I use it every night to help fade old blemishes and prevent new ones.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil: I use this one more rarely, only to dab onto breakouts or blemishes that I really want to fight fast.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask: This feels so refreshing and really wakes up my skin when I use it. I tend to use it only once a week or the night before an important event.

There are a lot of products in this lineup and still a few left that I don’t use, but so far the items I use have been giving me great results. My skin feels better and looks better, and I notice less breakouts which is a huge improvement in my skin. Feel free to email me or comment if you have any questions about my skin care routine or how I use the products.

  1. I’ve used it and I can refer more or less the same. It cleared up my skin as well, even if some products feel a little tacky, such as the oil for instance. I’m glad you liked it too. Cheers!
