Doesn’t This Sound Like The Most Delicious Shower Scent?

For some reason whenever the holiday season hits I always look for yummy scented bath and body products. There are tons of choices and I recently put together a gift guide featuring some awesome gifts from The Body Shop, which you can check out here. While The Body Shop has more natural scents like Shea, Satsuma, and Glazed Apple, sometimes I want a festive product too. That’s where the new Philosophy Pumpkin Icing Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath comes in!

The limited edition Philosophy Pumpkin Icing Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath (480ml for $21) is available at select Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada and is an exclusive season scent that sounds so delicious.

The description calls it rich, warm, and decadently delicious, and being a huge pumpkin fan, I am totally interested in this multi-purpose product. One bottle can be used for hair, body, and bubble bath, so you can enjoy the pumpkin scent from head to toe. I have used other Philosophy products before and love how versatile they are. A great lather, sweet scent, and gentle cleanse that leaves skin and hair feeling soft – what more could you ask for?

This is definitely going on my Christmas wishlist!

Sephora Wish List: July

It’s that time of year again when I start browsing at all the pretty new products Sephora has and I start compiling a wish list for myself. There’s so many things I want to check out and a bunch of products I have heard great reviews for, so I have quite the wishlist.

Sephora Wishlist July 2014

Sephora Wishlist July 2014

Check out the products I’m pining for this month.

1. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick, $25. This lipstick looks amazing. It’s essentially a liquid form of lipstick so it’s shiny like a gloss but stays on like a stain. The perfect hybrid to last through hot summer days.

2. LANCÔME Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette, $55. I’m super interested in this palette in the Pink Envy shade, since it has some fresh summer colours that are quite similar to the Pantone Colour of the Year, Radiant Orchid. I also think these shades would look good on tanned skin and brown eyes, so it’s perfect for me.

3. Sephora Collection Upside Down Mascara, $28. What an interesting concept.. this mascara has two wands so your lashes go in between them to get full coverage. Out of sheer curiosity this one made the list.

4. Kat Von D Shade Shifter Set, $18. Shade shifting eye shadow? Sign me up. These shadows have chameleon-like colours that change shades in different lights. They can also be used in a more dramatic way when activated by water. The possibilities seem endless with these shadows.

5. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Stained Gloss, $22. I have always wanted to try an OCC Lip Tar but with this being a glossy version that’s even more exciting. Said to be more translucent than the original Lip Tar stains, this one seems like it could be more of an everyday product.

If you have any of these or have any helpful comments I would love to hear your opinions, so please don’t be shy!

Happy Friday! Here’s My Latest Sephora Wishlist

It’s Friday and I am heading downtown for the weekend which means I get to do some serious shopping! I’ve had a Sephora gift card burning a hole in my wallet for the last few weeks and in honour of finally going to a Sephora store I have complied a few items that are on my wishlist for this weekend.

My Sephora Wishlist for March 2014

Benefit They’re Real! Mascara, $29. This classic mascara is one of my favourites but somehow I have been living off the mini travel sized ones. I’d love to finally get a real one and this might be the perfect opportunity.

Marc Jacobs Dot Rollerball, $30. I adore Dot and I think the ladybug themed bottle is just the cutest, but it’s unique shape makes it hard to travel with so a rollerball of this flirty scent would be perfect for the warmer weather coming up!

Nars Matte Multiple in Laos, $46. I am in love with all things matte and Laos is a pretty rose coral shade that would be great for an everyday look on either lips or cheeks.

Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful, $36. I have yet to try a Tarte Cheek Stain but it’s been on my to-try list forever. Blissful is a warm peach shade that I think would be lovely for Spring.

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée in Poppy Paradise, $26. I have heard so much about these water-infused blushes and am absolutely dying to check one out.

I’m starting to see a theme here.. apparently I am going to be really into blush this month! Since March is just around the corner (as in this Saturday) I am definitely hoping to have a new blush for Spring. It seems like I have a few options above so we’ll see what my weekend shopping brings!

I don’t know about you but I can spend hours browsing sephora.ca and I always have a million things that catch my eye. With this wishlist in mind I hope to track down a few of the items and come back from the weekend with some new products to play with!
